The ‘Wetland Walk’ program organized by the Wildlife and Nature Protection Society of Sri Lanka (WNPS) on August 18, 2019 from 7.00am -11.00am at the Diyasurupark in Thalawathugoda is about children and their parents being taken on a guided nature walk, in small groups through an urban wetland.
The programme is specially designed for children between the ages of 4-12 years. The programme encourages exploring of the environment by children and parents in a bid to generate interests in parents to continue the learning experience even at home.
