At least 17 passengers who returned from overseas were injured when the bus slid off the road and crashed into a pipeline in Palai, Jaffna, police said.
The passengers were on their way to a military run quarantine center in Vidathalpalai after they arrived into the country yesterday. Palai police are conducting investigations over the accident. The injured persons are admitted to Palai base hospital and Jaffna Teaching hospital.
