The 17 suspects arrested over the killing of two businessmen in Rathgama have been further remanded until June 10.
While issuing the order, the Galle Chief Magistrate's Court instructed that the vehicles which were seized after allegedly being used in the killings, be handed over to their owners under conditions.
Of the arrested suspects, 15 persons are attached to the Southern Police Special Investigations unit while two others are Forest Department officers.
The suspects were arrested and remanded over the killing of two businessmen in Rathgama by the names of Rasith Chinthaka and Asela Manjula Kumara.
