18-year old goes missing believed to be due to drowning in Kelani River

News

An 18-year old is believed to have gone missing due to drowning in the Kelani River in Yatiyanthota yesterday (Jul 7), police said.

The victim has been identified as John Gnanamary, a resident of Yatiyanthota.

A search operation in the river is currently being carried out by the Navy while further inquiries are being carried out by the police.
