24 hospitalised due to food poisoning in Trincomalee
A group of 24 persons have been hospitalised due to food poisoning at a wedding in Pumoddai, Trincomalee today (Jul 19).
The group is currently receiving treatment at the Pulmoddai hospital.
Among the sick persons were 17 adults and seven youths who are residents of Pulmoddai.
However, their situation is reported to be in an uncritical stage.
