24-hour water cut from Kadawatha to Kirindavita from 6 pm today
A 24-hour water cut will be in effect from Kadawatha to Kirindivita along Ganemulla and all by-roads, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board said today (Apr 29).
The water cut will be imposed from 6 pm today until 6 pm tomorrow owing to a repair in water pipes from Kadawatha and in the vicinity of the new exit roundabout in Kerawalapitiya along the Southern Expressway, an NWSDB official noted.
Accordingly, the areas which will face the water stoppage are as follows ;
Mahara area - Mahara, Nugegoda, Welipillewa, Maddegoda, Polhena, Keselwatte, Sooriyagama
Ganemulla area - Galahitiyawa, Neduna, Kossinna, Thibbotugoda, Kudabollana, Horagolla, Midellawita, Rathmalwita, Pahalayagoda, Parakandeniya
