A 24-hour water cut will be in effect in the Hokandara area from 9 am on Saturday, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) said.
The water cut will be experienced as a result of project being carried out by the Land Reclamation Authority which involves the repairing of water lines in the Colombo district, an NWSDB official told Times Online.
Meanwhile, several areas will experience low water pressure during the period of the water cut. Those areas are as follows:
Colombo, Mount Lavinia, Dehiwala, Kotte, Kaduwela, Maharagama, Boralesgamuwa, Kotikawatta, Mulleriyawa, Ratmalana and Soysapura.
