A 33 year old, who was in possession of heroin and ice drug, was arrested in Makola, STF said today.
According to information received by the STF officers of the Gonahena Camp, they conducted a raid yesterday (January 23) at Rankethyaya of Makola in Sapugaskanda.
A 33 year old man, who committed drug fraud in Mattakkuliya of Colombo 15, was arrested while in possession of 501g of ice drug, 56g of heroin, Rs. 95,000 earned from drug fraud and two mobile phones.
The suspect and the seized items were handed over to the Sapugaskanda Police for further investigation.
The raid was conducted by STF officials of the Gonahena Camp, including Inspector S. D. P. N. Deshapriya under the guidance of STF Commander Waruna Jayasundara.
