Forty students at the Maduruketiya Maha Vidyalaya in Moneragala have been hospitalised after being attacked by wasps at the school today (Mar 19).
A teacher at the school had also fallen victim to the wasp attack, a spokesman for the Monaragala General Hospital said.
Measures are currently underway to clear the wasps from the premises of the school.
