With another six naval personnel who have been discharged from hospital yesterday after underwent treatment for COVID19, the total number of naval personnel recovered from the virus stands at 842, Navy said,
These individuals who contracted COVID-19 were receiving treatment from the Theldeniya Hospital (03), Kaththankudi Hospital (02) and Minuwangoda Hospital (01). Since, these sailors have tested negative for COVID-19, based on the reports of random PCR tests done while in hospitals, they were discharged on Tuesday.
The discharged naval personnel were instructed to stay in 14 days of further quarantine, adhering to health precautions, according to the Navy.
