The All Ceylon Makkal Congress (ACMC) led by Rishad Bathiudeen has resolved to vote against the second reading vote on the Appropriation Bill -2022 due to be taken up today (22).
The party on Sunday informed all four of its members about the decision.
The move was taken in the context of three of its members on earlier occasions voting with the government.
The vote will take place at 5 pm at the end of the seven day debate.
Meanwhile the Committee Stage Debate will commence on Tuesday, November 23 and will continue for 16 days, until Friday, December 10.
The final vote on the Bill is scheduled for the evening of December 10.
