The Asian Development Bank (ADB) stated on Tuesday that Sri Lanka’s economy is expected to see negative growth this year but a recovery is likely to kick in, in 2024.
Inflation is forecast to moderate in 2023 and to be within the target band next year, it was announced in Colombo in releasing the ADB Asia Outlook 2023 report.
The ADB said it wants Sri Lanka to remain on track in terms of macroeconomic stability and structural reforms. (SD)
