An accomplice of the Underworld mobster “Dubai Jude” has been arrested while in possession of 1.5kg of heroin, STF said today (February 17).
According to information received by the STF officials of the Gonahena Camp, they conducted a raid in South Batana of the Kadana area yesterday.
Consequently, a 31 year old suspect, who is a resident of Colombo 13, was arrested while in possession of 1kg and 500g of heroin and two mobile phones.
The suspect arrested, who was found to be an accomplice of the Underworld mobster “Dubai Jude”, had maintained amicable relations with him and had conducted his drug network, the STF said. 
Customs have detected 228 mobile phones and tabs valued at over Rs 30 million left behind in the duty free shopping complex at the Banaranaike International Airport today, Customs officials said.
