The first flight carrying 162 passengers landed at the Mattala Airport yesterday (6) morning.
Flights will be operated once a week on Saturdays from Almaty International airport to Mattala. The flight will depart from Almaty at 5.00 am and arrive at Mattala at 10.50 am. The return flight will be on the same day.
Lanka Sportreizen, of which Mr. Thilak Weerasinghe was the founder Chairman had been in negotiation with the airline to select Sri Lanka as a destination,
