British tourist injured in motorcycle accident in Wellawaya
A British tourist was injured in a motorcycle accident in the Wellawaya area, Police said today (2).
The tourist, identified as Soin Mccrum (36), riding a motorcycle collided with a threewheeler at Yalabowa on the Wellawawaya – Thanamalwila road on Wednesday (1).
She was travelling from Pothuvil to Galle.
She was first rushed to the Wellawaya hospital and then transferred to the Monaragala District Hospital.
Hospital sources said she was recovering.
