Strict legal action has been taken against sellers in three shops in Colombo Fort where display of prices has been violated, during a raid conducted by the Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) conducted yesterday (August 15).
Items offered for sale should display pricing information as per the CAA Act, where some retailers are non-compliant and businesses found to violate the display of prices may face a penalty, a CAA official made it plain.
