The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) to carried a series of raids on poultry farms and retail outlets to for selling eggs at higher prices than stipulated by the CAA.
In some of the cases the CAA directed the traders to sell the eggs at the rate of Rs 44 while in some cases the places sealed and cases are to be filed against them.
