The Ceylon Electricity Board and Sustainable Energy Authoritiy have been instructed to expedite the evaluation, approval process and power purchase agreements subjected to environment and land clearance approvals of six large scale renewable energy projects, Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekare said.
He said the proposed six projects will add 1110 MW to the national grid in the next three years.
