A decision has been taken to allow the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) to procure fuel including Naptha for all CEB power plants through a Competitive Bidding Procedure via the open market, highly placed sources told Times Online.
This is the first time the CEB management decided to go ahead with procurement through a competitive bidding process.
