The Criminal Investigation Department has been handed over the Investigations in to the death of a private secretary of former State Minister Lohan Ratwatte who was found dead with gun shot injuries on Sunday.
The Secretary Sanjeewa Basnayake's body was found in a building adjoining a residences of the ex-minister in Mahiyawa, Kandy.
A weapon was recovered close his body.
