Cabinet to take up Sinopec’s $4.5 b refinery proposal today
The Cabinet will today take up a proposal from Chinese state refiner Sinopec to build a $4.5-billion-dollar refinery in Hambantota.
Minister of Power and Energy confirmed that the proposal is being taken up and once approved the signing of the agreement will take place.
