Former Central Bank Governor Ajith Nivard Cabraal has been banned from leaving the country until 18 April.
Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court prevented the former Central Bank Governor from leaving the country taking into consideration a request made by former Governor Rajith Keerthi Tennakoon under section 136(1)(a) of the Code of Criminal Procedure Act of 1979.
The Colombo Additional Magistrate also issued notice to Mr. Cabraal to appear before courts on April 18.
