A special Monetary Policy Board Meeting is scheduled to be held today, February 7 - Wednesday. However this meeting will not lead to a policy interest rate decision, the Central Bank said in a statement.
In the past monthly meetings of the board were followed by a policy interest rate decision. However in January the Central Bank said such meetings would be held only once in two months followed by a interest rate decision.
