The Central Bank said on Thursday that the Monetary Policy Review: No. 05 of 2024, which was scheduled to be issued on September 20 has been rescheduled to Friday September 27.
Analysts said it would be interesting to see what the announcement would be – whether reducing interest rates or hiking it – a few days after the country has elected a new president (on September 21). It was unclear as to why the date of the announcement was changed.
