A 44-year-old Chinese national was killed in a road accident in Kalpitiya yesterday (16).
Police said the victim had lost control of his vehicle, causing it to veer off the road and crash into an electricity pole. He died on admission to the Puttalam Hospital.
The body is currently lying at the mortuary of the Puttalam Hospital and Kalpitiya Police are conducting further investigations.
