A Chinese woman was arrested for trying to make use of an passport of another Chinese national who had lost her travel documents six years back and was deported from Sri Lanka yesterday.
The woman had arrived on China Eastern Airlines on Thursday night and at the Immigration counter it was revealed that she was using the passport of a Chinese woman who had lost her passport in Sri Lanka in 2017.
The Immigration officials had found that the original passport of the woman who was arrested was in her possession.
The woman was deported thereafter.
