The Committee on Cost of living is to meet tomorrow (24) to discuss price increase of several goods and items, the Trade Ministry said.
A source from the Ministry said that gas supplier companies, milk powder companies, as well as wheat flour importers have requested to increase the prices of their goods.
The source further explained that the requests were made on the grounds that the depreciation of the rupee has caused an increase in world market prices of goods.
