Competent Authority for Ruhunu University
A Gazette notification has been issued by Prime Minister Dr Harini Amarasuriya in her capacity as the Minister of Education, appointing Senior Professor R.M.U.S.K. Ratnayake as the Competent Authority in place of the Vice Chancellor of the Ruhuna University, effective from today.
Students have been protesting calling for the removal of the Vice Chancellor for the past few months.
