Couple arrested for sheltering murder suspect
A couple who provided shelter to a murder suspect who escaped from Police custody at the Bandaranaike International Airport was arrested while hiding in Nuwara Eliya, Police said today
The key suspected who has escaped from the Airport is still evading arrest.
He is reported to be a Navy deserter who has not reported to work in the recent weeks.
The suspect is wanted for several murders including a recent shooting at Hanwella,
The couple had provided accommodation to the suspect at their home in Horana.
