Court issues order preventing any protests that disrupt public movement
The Fort Magistrates Court has issued an order preventing from holding any protests disrupting the movement of public.
However, the Chief Magistrate's court earlier rejected issuing such order.
A large number of police and security personnel have been stationed near Galle Face in view of a proposed protest by the main opposition party - Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) today. (Pix by Indika Handuwala)
