DG of Govt. Information Dept resigns

Nalaka Kaluwewa, Director-General of the Government Information Department has tendered his resignation citing personal reasons, Minister of Mass Media Keheliya Rambukwella confirmed.

Meanwhile Additional Secretary to the Media Ministry Ruwan Sathkumara has been appointed as the Acting DG of Government Information Department with immediate effect.
