Debate on Second Reading of Budget 2025 to commence today
The debate on the Second Reading of Budget 2025 will commence in Parliament this morning (18).
Today is the first day of the Second Reading of Budget 2025. The debate will go on for for 7 days till February 25, including Saturday, the 22nd. Thereafter, the vote on the Second Reading of the Budget will be held on February 25th at 6.00 p.m.
Thereafter, the Committee Stage debate on the Bill is scheduled to be held for 19 days, including 4 Saturdays, from February 27th to March 21st. Thereafter, the vote for the Third Reading on the Appropriation Bill will be held on March 21st at 6:00 PM.
