A decision call the Finance Ministry Secretary S.R.Attygala and Governor Central Bank Ajith Nivard Cabraal for the cabinet meeting has been further delayed.
The reason has been that several pending cabinet papers need to be discussed at today’s meeting.
The last week’s cabinet meeting was also not held.
Earlier the cabinet was set to take a decision whether to seek a bailout from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) at today’s cabinet meeting which has been scheduled for 5.00 p.m at the Presidential Secretariat.
