One hundred and thirty two (132) persons have died from COVID-19 complications during the past 24 hours, the Health Ministry confirmed.
Today’s released numbers show a gradual decrease in the number of deaths compared to last week when the daily death toll exceeded 200.
Sri Lanka’s total COVID death toll now stands at 11,699. At present 57,030 persons are treated for the virus both at hospitals and at their homes.
