Dialog TV, one of two main cable TV operators in Sri Lanka, on Wednesday afternoon restored the break in transmission which had existed for several hours but some viewers reported that they were still facing problems.
The service had been off the air since Tuesday evening due to satellite transmission problems, officials said.
Viewers on Tuesday evening encountered many problems in the transmission and were on Wednesday morning informed, in a company message, that there were some technical problems with an assurance that the problem would be rectified by Wednesday evening.
Dialog TV has thousands of subscribers across Sri Lanka. – ENDS -
