A private bus traveling from Kodikamam in Jaffna to Point Pedro veered off the road and overturned in the Nelliady area injuring five last night, the Nelliady Police said.
Less than ten people were on the bus when it toppled, limiting the amount of damage. According to the Police, four persons including the Bus Driver suffered minor injuries.
However, it was discovered that the incident occured as the bus driver was unable to control the speed of the vehicle.
