New contact details for Sri Lanka’s relocated embassy in Tehran
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has provided new contact details of Sri Lanka’s Embassy in Tehran, Iran which has been temporarily relocated due to the prevailing situation.
The Ministry said the new address is Amini Villa, Kohestan Alley, Imam Khomeini Street, Owlom, Masal, Rasht . The ontact Numbers are : +98 939 205 5161/ +98 991 205 7522/ +98 936 636 0260

Customs seize Rs. 119 Mn worth of cigarettes and whisky hidden in furniture shipment
In a major detection at the Ceylon Shipping Lines (CSL) warehouse in Colombo 09, Sri Lanka Customs officers uncovered a large consignment of contraband cigarettes and whisky concealed within a shipment declared as household furniture and personal goods.
