A 26 year old person who fled the country after his vehicle crashed into a three-wheeler in Kollupitiya killing its driver was arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport on return to the country, Police said today.
He was identified as M.B.M.Rizak, a businessman.
The man was arrested on Monday night returning from Dubai.
He had left the country within four hours of the accident on Saturday morning.
He was accused of driving at high speed in a reckless manner.
The suspect was handed over to the Kollupitiya police which is handling investigations over the accident.
