A drug addict who stole 33 Durian fruits and sold them has been arrested by the Moratuwa, Egodauyana Police.
The man had been told by a fruit shop owner to arrange the Durian fruits and he had found that 33 fruits had been removed.
Police said that he had sold some of the fruits for Rs 1900 and part of them have been recovered.
The suspect is due to be produced in courts today.
