Eight persons who illegally entered into two bank accounts of a private bank and transferred Rs 13.7 million to their accounts have been arrested by the Police.
The eight persons were residents of Wadduwa, Piliyandala, Bandarawela and Galle of rages ranging from 22 to 36 years,
They had misused internet banking facilities to carryout the fraud.
The suspects are in remand custody until November 30.
