Estate workers say an increasing number of Wasp attacks is making it extremely difficult for them to do their jobs.
Estate workers say wasp nests can be found in increasing numbers not just on top of trees but also below tea plants.
Workers engaged in plucking tea are subjected to regular attacks by wasps disturbed during their work, they note.
Several estate workers have died as a result of wasp attacks in recent times while many others have been injured.
Noting that the situation is making it extremely difficult for them to continue with their work, estate workers are urging authorities to take measures to remove the wasp nests.
