A father and son were killed when their bicycle collided with a van in the Kotugoda area in Seeduwa last night, Police said.
The father aged 45 and his 14 year old son are residents of Raddolugama.
The van driver has been arrested
A Sri Lanka Air Force Bell 212 helicopter belonging to the No. 72 squadron has crashed into the Madhuru Oya reservoir this morning, Air FOrce Media Spokesman Eranda Geeganage said.
