At least 15 CEB clerical staff members who were in charge of cash counters, but failed to report for work on January 4 have been interdicted.
The action has been taken as they stayed from duties while taking part in a protest against the CEB restructuring programme.
Customs have detected 228 mobile phones and tabs valued at over Rs 30 million left behind in the duty free shopping complex at the Banaranaike International Airport today, Customs officials said.
