The inaugural rally of the proposed new alliance led by the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) alliance will be held in Ambalanthota in the Hambantota District on June 8.
The inagural rally of the new alliance has been organised by SLFP Vice-President, Minister of Agriculture and Plantation Industries Minister Mahinda Amaraweera.
This first public rally has been organized under the organizing of the Minister of Agriculture and Plantation Industry and the Senior Vice President of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party, Mr. Mahinda Amaraweera.
Minister Amaraweera said that arrangements have been made to hold the first rally of the new alliance proposed to be formed under the leadership of the SLFP with the participation of a large number of people. He said many parliamentarians representing leading several political parties have already expressed their interest to participate in the rally.
