Update: Five of the twelve passengers on board the bell 212 aircraft that crashed into the Maduru Oya today, have succumbed to their injuries, the SLAF said.
Two passengers were Air Gunners and three were Army personnel. The rest of the personnel are recieving medical treatment.
The crash occured during a demonstration for the Army Special Forces passing out parade.
An Attorney at law and his wife was shot dead in the car park of a super market in Akuregoda today evening.
