A five year old child was killed and two others were injured when a motorcycle they were traveling collided with a cab on Thursday night in Kalpitiya.
The motorcycle had overtaken from the wrong side and collided with cab.
The father of the child and a pillion rider injured in the accident were transferred to the Colombo National hospital.
The cab driver, a resident of Veyangoda has been arrested.
