Former President Maithiripala Sirisena has denied reports that he is due to be sworn in a cabinet Minister.
The former President in a statement said that he has not asked for any position or cabinet positing and does not hope to accept such position.
The statement came in the wake of several newspapers and social media reports that the former President is to be sworn in as a cabinet minister shortly.
