The Western Provincial Civil Appeals High Court today (01) dismissed the appeal filed by former President Maithripala Sirisena seeking dismissal from cases filed against him by victims of Easter Sunday terror attacks.
Sirisena’s petition sought dismissal from all 108 cases filed against him by the Colombo District Court regarding payment of compensation to victims of 2019 deadly attacks.
The dismissal order was delivered by Judges Sanjeewa Morayas and Frank Gunawardene.
