Prof. G.L. Peiris’s post as the Foreign Minister has been relinquished by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa with effect from today (23).
Issuing an extraordinary gazette, Secretary to the President Gamini Senerath said that Prof. Peiris will be appointed as the Minister of Foreign Affairs from today.
