The Government Medical Officers Association (GMOA) has requested a meeting between the President and the Professional Trade Union Alliance, a spokesman fro the Association said today (April 20).
The request for the meeting was made in a reply to a letter sent by the Secretary to the President, E. M. S. B. Ekanayake.
The meeting has been requested in order to discuss a way forward in the Taxation of Professionals.
The reply also requests the President to grant an early meeting with the Presidential Secretariat to discuss their requests related to GMOA membership.
